HOW TO LAUNCH YOUR FUTURE
THE YOUNT PROGRAM FOR EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT
AMONG LDS CHURCH MEMBERS, EDUCATION IS AN ETERNAL QUEST
. . . But it’s getting more complicated.
HE YOUNT WEBSITE AND SEMINAR ARE BEING REVISED TO BETTER SERVE A BROADER MIX OF LDS CHURCH MEMBERS.
Some need more help in preparing for college. Others need higher levels of success or help to avoid future college dropout. Still others need alternative forms of educational advancement.
Parent guidelines for preparing children for college and financing college will also be included. Closer connections between spiritual endeavors and school endeavors will be stressed.
The new Church emphasis on self-reliance and frugality will be covered. In general loans will be limited to $3,000 per year, $6,000 total for attendance at schools close to home.
Special customized seminar materials for different groups of members will be provided.
We ask your patience during the revision of both the website and the materials placed upon it.
Most of the changes should be in place by the end of November.
